i’d try something else by A. Chi 
I bought this item hoping it would be useful to turn outdoor holiday lights on and off. The advertised range was 60ft when in reality, the remote control needed to be less than 1ft in front of the device to actually toggle the power on and off. I’d stay away from this item since it does not work as advertised.

These are the best remote controls on the market!
I have rheumatoid arthritis and have several of these and they are wonderful. When you have several you need to make sure you get several different frequencies. It sure does help turning the lights off after you get situated at night when you deal with a lot of pain on a daily basis. Highly recommend!
